AZARI T BENJAMIN
Azari Benjamin is the Founder and Manager Partner of Azari T. Benjamin PL. Azari has been responsible for overseeing the firm’s decisions since inception in 2004. Mr. Benjamin has an extensive and broad-based real estate, technology and emerging markets background spanning more than 20 years, and he has a long track record of creating innovative transactions that have helped to establish significant fund capital markets. He began his career in the early 1990s at AIG and Coopers & Lybrand, with a primary geographical focus–Emerging Europe, Middle-East, Africa and fortune 50 clientele, respectively. By the end of 2013, he was responsible for over $1 billion in equity commitments to VC/PE backed US corporations that included more than $5 billion in assets. Mr. Benjamin is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia. Azari is fluent in English and Russian with a working knowledge of Hebrew, Azerbaijani and Ukrainian.
